This Sunday, Århus Baseball Softball Klub opened the field for the first Baseball Games of the season. The weather was warm and sunny and the spectators enjoyed a lovely day at the ballpark with great Baseball, Beers and Burgers.
Herning Trolls visited the home of the Århus Baseball Team and Aarhus Athletics on Sunday May 13. The two Aarhus teams were too great a match for Herning and Herning had to return home with 0-2.
The local rivalry between the two Århus Baseball Softball Klub teams, “Århus” and “Aarhus Athletics” was not as exciting as the fans could have hoped. Århus never really got traction; meanwhile Aarhus Athletics hit homeruns after homeruns. The game ended after only 5 innings with a massive win to the Latino team Aarhus Athletics.
The results of the games strengthened Aarhus Athletics spot at the top of the standings and puts Århus on a shared 2nd position. Herning joins the Urbarn Achievers at the bottom of the standings.
